Very nice facility designed for Lake Forest College students next to Alumni Fieldhouse where the Mens and Womens ice hockey program play

Overall, the sports and rec center is clean and neat. Mostly all machines are fully functional & there’s enough variety to hit every muscle group. However, the only time there is music in this place is when there’s practice for teams. If there’s no sport teams practicing there is no music or it’s very low. It completely kills the experience and just makes the environment feel dead and awkward bc you can just hear that awkward silence and people breathing.

Absolutely phenomenal facilities. I love having access to the track, pool, weights, locker rooms, courts, etc. There’s plenty of space & plenty of equipment for the campus community to use. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait to use equipment. The open hours are sufficient, but obviously sometimes there are special events or sporting events that close off certain areas. The ONLY problem I have with the rec center is that the parking lot is always PACKED unless you go during the middle of the day. And people double park & trap you in. Othere than that, really great.

The college campus is beautiful & the atmosphere is enchanting. The staff member are friendly, well rounded & extremely helpful with providing guidance throughout the campus.

I like it during the school year hours but summer hours become wack because it doesn't stay open as late. Ran by college students which make them more personable but less professional but facility is very high quality. Middle afternoon the gym is usually unavailable to non college members because of the college athletes which can be a problem for people who like getting out of work and going straight to the gym. The college student staff also play trap bangers at around 7 pm if you want to deadlift to Walk it Talk it by Migos then this gym is the MOVE 😭😭😭💪

I loved looking up at the wooden ceiling. Such a beautiful area. Seats are nice too...they had backs on them.
