I came to FitDestiny with the intention to compete in a bodybuilding show. That was my first mistake. Mostly everything after that was a negative experience. To start, the gym is not the best. Very cheap equipment and super crowded. Your'e better off getting a membership at a commercial gym. As for the owner and bodybuilding coach, Brandon Sellnow, he is very unprofessional. He has very little knowledge of what it takes to be a bodybuilding coach and how to help people transform their bodies. After hiring a different coach, who is well known in the bodybuilding industry, i realized how many gaps there were in his coaching. Questions were rarely answered (now I know it's because he probably did not know the answer). He was late to meetings every single time and did not answer texts or calls with any sense of urgency. As my show date got closer, the NPC came out with a rule that you had to be 18 to compete. I was 17 at the time, but Brandon assured me he had connections and would be able to get me into the show. He did not have any connections. In fact, he waited to email the promoter of the show until about 1 week out. After prepping for 7 months, I was not able to register for the show. During this process Brandon told me to lie about my age to get me into the show, but I do not lie so I told him no. He then tried to act like he did not do anything wrong in the situation. All in all, Brandon is not knowledgeable in the area of fitness and health.
