I think it’s really important that we support. It’s not always cheaper at the big box stores like Home Depot. The prices were comparable and after I checked out, I got a five dollar coupon for my next purchase 🙂 what’s better than that great location amazing Professional and knowledgeable, employees reasonable prices and a great experience thank you Cornell!

I’ve been going here for about 20 years for hardware needs. The staff there is extremely knowledgeable about their stock and what you would need for any hardware/home repair problems. I love that you can get the batteries for your key fobs here, and they will install them for you free of charge. Cashiers do a great job as well. The cashier on my last visit, Irma P was very friendly. All the staff I have interacted with have been so helpful.

Danny in the back has single handedly saved me on countless projects. He’s a superior employee and has been there almost as long as I’ve been alive. I greatly appreciate him and his knowledge and constant willingness to help and go above and beyond for customers. Please treat this man right. He deserves it. Also this store is fantastic. Cornell Hardware is the best! I’ve been coming here for much of my life, and I still see the same faces working there. They are all very helpful and knowledgeable. They carry a wide variety of hardware here, and I’m always grateful for them having that odd screw or fastener that I need a replacement for. Places like this existed in every town across the country, but the big box stores forced them out one by one, and that’s a real shame. Stores like this are the backbone of our community, so I’m really happy these guys are still thriving. They make our community a better place to live. On Sunday night I placed an order for in-store pickup the next day. While the website indicated they had the item in stock, it turned out to be arriving on a truck. Ricky called me that morning to say that the delivery didn’t arrive yet, but it would be in later that day. Good luck getting that kind of service at a big box store. Guys like Ricky and the rest of the crew know their customers and look out for us. Whether you need to repair a screen, replace a faucet, install a new light fixture in your house or do some work in your garden, Cornell Hardware has it all. I refuse to shop anywhere else, I highly recommend you do the same.

Daniel is a Godsend.

Been struggling to keep my aging parents in their house, but with his previous experience working in Burke Rehabilitation, Daniel was able to give me a detailed rundown on security protocols as well as instruction on how to install safety hardware. None of the professional services that I contacted were nearly as helpful. His advice was invaluable.

Ask folks at Home Depot for help and you generally get a blank stare. Ask anyone at Cornell‘s and not only do they offer to show you what you asked about but intelligently discuss reasonable alternatives that might be better. Bring your purchases up to the checkout counter and the friendliness and assistance continue.

If I’m building a barn, I’ll buy my wood at Home Depot or Lowe’s. For anything else hardware or house related my first stop is Cornell’s.
