My daughter and I signed up for a defense class last Spring and we loved it! My daughter immediately wanted to sign up for classes and I was happy to have her learn more. Learning martial arts has given her confidence, focus, and discipline. She really loves it! Masters Somers and Gibson are very encouraging and are excellent instructors. White Tiger Martial Arts is terrific!!! Grand Master Somers and his son Owen are great teachers. They are patient and explain every detail on the proper techniques, the reason behind the techniques and the targets for the techniques. This makes it a lot easier to learn instead of just going through the motions. They teach traditional style as Grand Master Somers learned over 40 years ago and not some new fancy method that is more for looks instead of self defense. They also encourage and welcome families to train at the same time. I take classes with my grandson which provides for some great bonding time. If you are looking to learn martial arts, this is the place!! If you are not sure if martial arts are for you, give it a try. I never would have thought I would have liked it especially at my age but their training style made me love it.

My daughter, son, and I all take classes here. With all three of us having different abilities, I appreciate how the instructors teach to everyone's potential. This is a traditional school and belts are very much earned, but they keep it fun too. You pay a monthly fee and take as many classes as you want during the week. That flexibility is really helpful in balancing other commitments. My little family loves the extended family feeling of WTMA.

Todd Somers does a great job as the instructor. My two sons are both attending and learning a lot. The class schedule is very flexible and allows you to go as much or little as your schedule allows. I highly recommend White Tiger Martial Arts School.

Master Somers and Gibson has created a fun and encouraging atmosphere of discipline, learning, and fun at White Tiger. My kids have only been going for two weeks, but they have loved it so much they beg to go everyday to both classes. Highly recommend for kids (and adults) of all ages. My older kids love the weapons and HAPKIDO classes!

WTMA is a traditional martial arts school. The school teaches the two Korean martial arts of Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. In addition the school teaches American Kick Boxing which provides a distinct advantage to those Tae Kwon Do students that compete in sparring tournaments.

The head master and owner, Master Somers, is a veteran of the martial arts world with many impressive accomplishments. His teaching style is engaging, tough and positive. Students in his school actually learn and retain their techniques. They earn their belt level unlike other schools that give out ranking belts based on lower criteria expectations.
