HORRIBLE LIFE CHANGING TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE! Have a felony on my record because of this awful place!!! I was admitted here after having a mental breakdown from work. I have never been in trouble or had mental health issues. Was abused on checkin with the "safety officers" trying to handcuff me to the bed. They twisted my wrists in the constraints the oppose direction causing very much pain. The two safety officers stated I assaulted them. How do you expect someone to act when you are abusing them? I ended up with a level 5 felony! They let me leave the facility and found out later I had a warrant out for my arrest. I was arrested in Colorado and extradited to Indiana and spent 90 days in jail. Hello, do you not have training to treat people with compassion and respect? Why did you let me leave if I had a warrant? While there, I had zero sessions with anyone. Begged to leave after a week as there was a lot of abuse being done to patients with 'safety officers' being called. Most unprofessional incompetent place I have every experienced!!!! Now I have a felon on my record because of their incompetence. After getting out of jail, had none of my anti-depressant meds I was given in jail. Probation officer said they would give me some until I can get into the doctor. Front desk person knew exactly why I was there and said this was something they do. After meeting with the "expert" they stated they don't do this. They were zero help in a desperate situation. Incompetent people in this god awful place. Was assured I would not be billed for the inconvenience; however, battling a bill of 900 bucks. PLEASE DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO THIS ABUSE AND INCOMPETENT STAFF! YOU WILL LEAVE WITH MORE TRAUMA TO DEAL WITH!!

Now i know why so low stars. You guys sent my step son home after 1 weekend saying he is fine clearly he isnt. Today yold his dad that he dont need your help clearly you guys dont care. For a 8 year to go to school threatened taking a hammer and bashing the kids head in with it is ok? For the 8 year old to be pulling his none loose teeth out and beating the shit out of himself is ok? For the 8 year old to go to mijers be walking and tell people he is gonna kill them and then tell us on our way home he is gonna kill us is ok? For someone that works eith cps is telling me to get him out and help he is a danger to my 7 year old and 3 month old (clearly he is he has already done things to them) and thats ok? Think you guys need yo go and look up what danger is and not clearly you guys dont know your job to well!!!

While most of the staff was amazing, I had a couple of horrible experiences while in the care of this facility. The Doctor that was there for the weekend by the name of Soyeun Chu, was extremely ill mannered and did not know how to interact correctly, with a facility full of mental health patients. She was very condescending. As I explained to her that I didn’t appreciate the way she was speaking to me, she began to make excuses for her behavior and proceeded to laugh it off. She made the excuse that she was “very matter of fact.” She was very monotone, wouldn’t listen clearly to my responses, (made obvious by asking another question I had answered to prior) and she was the ‘talk of the patients.’ Many others felt like she was overmedicating, unfair and rude. She labeled me as manipulative in my notes because I highly advocated for myself and called her out on her mannerism.

One of the group leaders, Betty Barnes, condoned when another patient threatened to hit me in my face while I was actively engaged in group conversation. They took something I said personally, although my part of the group conversation was not directed towards them. She made the excuse that he maybe had felt like I was telling him what to do, when I was only participating in the topic of conversation and giving insight, between the difference on inpatient care and a halfway house due to my experience of my better half having been both places before.

Overall, I left their care upset and in worse condition than what I was before voluntarily choosing to look into my mental health. I highly recommend therapy to those who would like help, or maybe another facility that knows how to interact and actually care for mental health patients.

My child had a stay with them, they were severely inconsistent with everything. Charting didn’t match what they were saying. Allowed a young child to stay up super late drink caffeine and not prepare him to come home for school and a normal life. I would not recommend them at all.

Very unprofessional! NO HELP.. Nick the main counselor for adolescence carries a very narcissistic I'm better than you attitude. I'm not sure who put him in charge of anything but he's more harm than help. Your program sucks and you are absolutely no help to our teens! My daughter willingly went and was kicked out of the out patient program with in two weeks for failing drug test. Nothing was said to me about the first fail and on the second fail he kicked her out. She has did nothing but talk about you and your narcissistic ways since! Don't send your kid here and shame on your program! We need help not harm. In a very polite way I hope non of you have to go through what we went through. DONT SEND YOUR KID HERE!

Im not a patient, i came to see my brother , the front desk lady (white long hair) was very rude and they were refusing to help somone that was coming out of their facility, they just called security to kick her out instead of actually helping, the front desk lady and a guy were talking badly about patients and families coming in, if they're using abusive language for people just visiting i wonder how they're treating people on the inside.

This place literally said that they "don't treat behaviors"When I tried to get help for my son why are they called Park view "behavioral" health? Not only is this extremely confusing and frustrating. It's false advertising. Zero stars if I could

Superb service. I wish I had a time machine. I feel naive not seeking help at age 25. Bipolar 1 will sneak up on you like a snake regarding symptoms.

Seek help when possible regarding Psychosis.

-Mood swings
-Delusions of grandiosity (I'm God, Secret Agent, or Invisibility Thinking)
-Overspending
-Disassociation with reality or impulsive decision making (Mania)
-Thinking everything had hidden meaning for thyself (Movies)

Don't be a Broderic and seek help.
